In Pursuit of Infinite Possibilities
In Pursuit of Infinite Possibilities was a self funded experimental project and the raw bones of an idea. While the costume and set design did not fully land for me, the underlying shot format and movement language revealed something genuinely interesting.
I wanted to explore the shapes that can be created with groups, using both symmetrical and irregular movement to find visually satisfying patterns. The cheerleader style sequences and the 360 degree handspring became key moments, where repetition and precision start to feel sculptural.
The video is made from hundreds of still images, using a grid system to position myself in precise formations. What emerged was a clear framework for image making, one that I can now imagine pushed much further with stronger costumes, more considered sets, and a more defined visual world.
